AFTER CARE

THE FIRST 24 HOURS…

To make the best use of your eyelash extension you need to follow some simple instructions.

The first 24-48 hours are crucial to the bonding procedure, so:

DO NOT get lashes wet in order to let the glue dry thoroughly. AVOID hot steam from the shower and sauna for ex.

Be gentle to your new lashes. Do not rub your eyes excessively. Do not wear any mascara or use an eyelash curler.

Do not wash them.

AFTER 24 HOURS…

AVOID OIL-BASED CLEANERS, LOTION OR EYE MAKEUP

REMOVERS. These products will dissolve the eyelash bonding agent. Instead, use plain water or water- based gel cleansers. You may wish to use a Q-tip to gently remove eye makeup around the lash line.

DO NOT USE WATERPROOF MASCARA The ingredients in this type of mascara will dissolve the bonding agent and your lashes will fall off.

IF YOU FEEL YOU MUST WEAR MASCARA... apply only a “water-based” mascara on your lash tips, not at the base of your lashes. Applying mascara on your lash base may break the lash and/or create a clump of mascara in your lash line.

Again, most women do not feel the need to apply any mascara at all. If you accidentally drop some powder on your lashes, simply remove with a Q-tip moistened in plain water in order for your dark lashes to reappear again.

AVOID USING A MECHANICAL EYELASH CURLER. Instead, use a heated eyelash curler sparingly. Prolonged heating of the lashes may make them become loose.

SCHEDULE A ‘TOUCH-UP” PROCEDURE IN 2-3 WEEKS. “Touch-up” or “fills” are highly recommended in order to maintain a full lush lash line.

– Bacterial infection due to non-aseptic procedures: will provide an aseptic procedure through proper disinfection, sanitation, and disposal of lash extension supplies and treatment areas.
